These paintings are done with a growing fascination for decaying fruit. Some I just keep around for too long, some is photographed just as it goes to the compost bin...I have a lot more to do with this theme, and a lot more old fruit around the house. The apple paintings set off aninterest in the apple peel and how it comes off and falls and how it starts to curl when kept a while.
